Proherant uses a robust Oracle ® database application to collect and manage patient, physician, payor, and prescription data. With workflow management and multiple automation tools, this proprietary software helps us provide accurate and efficient customer service.

Aggregation of data from multiple sources

Proherant receives data from multiple partners for programs. Data is verified against specific requirements and loaded into Proherant’s system, enabling reporting of the aggregated data. The data elements tracked are customized to the unique manufacturer and program requirements.

Provider and manufacturer Web portal capabilities

Our technology philosophy is “build to purpose.” Rather than force our clients into “canned” solutions, we collaborate with our clients to understand and to meet their needs through custom solutions. Our Web portal enables physicians to view clinical information about their patients and to download pre-defined reports, while allowing manufacturer sales representatives to track status data at the physician level. Automated e-mail solutions notify our clients of key status and physician information updates.

Reporting

Proherant has the capability to create customized reporting solutions based on specific business requirements. We can provide data reports via FTP and Web service, with additional reporting available via a Web portal.

Backup capabilities

Proherant has comprehensive Tier 1 redundant backup capabilities for our primary operating systems. We have monitoring controls on all systems—24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year—to detect and to correct errors before they affect the performance or availability of a system. Reporting procedures are in place to assist in researching, resolving, and documenting errors. In many cases, system recovery is initiated without human intervention through automated failover and recovery tools within the error tracking application we use.

All systems are backed up nightly, with backups retained offsite in a secure location. All Proherant facilities have local generator support installed onsite. For events such as power loss, where the campus facility is not damaged beyond immediate repair, Proherant’s data center facility uses generator power to continue business.
