Proherant has provided manufacturer support services for approximately 20 years, launching over 75 programs for pharmaceutical and biotech manufacturers, as well as for medical device companies. Proherant was acquired by Accredo Health, Inc., in 2002 and, as a wholly owned subsidiary of Accredo Health, Inc., became a part of the Medco Health Solutions, Inc., family of companies in 2005.

With access to the extensive resources of a large company, Proherant still operates as a small manufacturer-centric entity, providing product support services for drugs with complex characteristics and requirements, often including specialty drugs.
